The idea of creating a platform for 2nd Chapter Women all started from a sleepness night about the journey travelled over the last 10 years, Going through the motions and passing through those milestones of 50 and then 60 years of age. Well that was a reality check of how quickly life is passing me by with retirement age looming!

I had a vault of products and information from going down the many online rabbit holes chasing shiny objects, investing in many products, services and mentors trying to find the answers. The epiphany had been quietly kindling in the back of my mind, and ignited by an afternoon I'd spent volunteering at a women's shelter. Those few hours had opened my eyes to a world of women standing at crossroads, much like I had been. They were women with dreams deferred, talents unexplored, and potential unrealized. The realisation that I was never going to have the capacity to make use of all the digital solutions I had invested in.

What if there were women who were also searching for ways to start their own business, but didnt know where to start?

What about giving them the opportunity to make use of my investments?

When Covid hit, it was a wake up call I needed. I began connecting with like-minded people and discovered this was my tribe and it was reassuring to know there were others feeling the same, were finding their purpose. It lit a fire in my belly! What Ive observed over the last few years is that women (& men) were standing up and helping others. Various Facebook groups I joined were posting about their experiences, sharing their existing business and some starting a new business. But as you know those posts get lost in the feeds.

And so, 2nd Chapter Women was created as a platform where women's voices resonate, their innovations flourish, and their stories inspire. Creating this platform is dedicated to showcasing women's diverse talents, products, and services, you're not just sharing your story or solutions, you're cultivating a vibrant ecosystem of empowerment as a collective.

2nd Chapter Women will become a catalyst for connection, allowing women to uplift each other, share hard-won wisdom, and forge lasting partnerships. As the community grows, so does its impact, rippling outward to touch lives across generations.
